During the rotational training programme I gained knowledge of the way the bank is structured (geographically and in terms of products), and I gained a good overview of the various divisions and a broad understanding of the products.

During the course of the programme I've constantly had feedback sessions with HR that have helped me to better understand my strengths and weaknesses. What I've enjoyed the most is the opportunity that the programme provides to interact with senior people in the bank, as well as the networking opportunities. We also have leadership sessions on a weekly basis which are conducted by various Business Unit heads and senior staff of the bank. These sessions have been very helpful – the Business Unit heads gave us useful tips on how to make use of the opportunities provided to us by the bank in general, and the training programme in particular.

My ambition is to be a fully rounded relationship banker, with exposure to many divisions within the bank, both domestically and internationally. The programme has helped me to understand the various functions carried out by different departments, so I now have a clear idea as to how my career within the bank has to progress.
