I was attracted to ABN AMRO because of its international presence, its reputation as one of the world's top European banks, and the great training programme it offers.

Currently, I am acting as a member of the Financial Institution sales team in the Transaction Banking department. My job is to assist my manager to answer client's phone calls about our department's various products. I'm also in the team helping to prepare the launch of our new online service in China.

I think the most enjoyable aspect so far has been to be able to apply what I learned academically into real world situations. The initial training programme before I started my rotation was quite helpful. It helped me to get to know some concepts I haven't encountered before, such as International Trade. It also helped me to develop some transferable skills, such as selling skills. I also received a lot of support from my colleagues who are always willing to help.

ABN AMRO is truly an international bank with a culture that encourages learning, development, team work and friendly, open discussions. Definitely a bank that I would recommend working for!
