On the programme I've benefited from the opportunity to develop my background university knowledge, and by being mentored by 'real' traders and bankers. I've been on a buy side advisory role, involved in the due diligence process, helping to finalise the valuation model and preparing board presentations. This gave me a lot of exposure to clients and other professional advisors, typically dealing with top level management and partners of other firms. The most enjoyable aspect is the sense of achievement as you produce a piece of work that your client appreciates and knowing that your efforts have been critical to your client's decision.
