Group Finance covers five directorates:
- Group Financial Reporting and Control (GFR&C)
- Group Finance Processing and Change (GFP&C)
- Group Finance Strategic Decision Support (GSDS)
- Group Asset & Liability Management (GALM)
- Group Tax Affairs (GTA)
We act as a business partner, engaging in strategic and tactical planning, and taking equal responsibility for the future success of the Bank. We do this through a number of roles:
- External and internal reporting and control covering 58 countries
- Monitoring the performance of ABN AMRO and the business units
- Policy-making, standard setting and supporting the business units
- 18 months' rolling forecasting
- Asset and liability management (group and local)
- Tax (group and local)
- Advisory role to the managing board
- Sarbanes-Oxley co-ordination
- Basel II co-ordination
- Group management consulting
- A communications role (together with Investor Relations and Group Communications) to keep ABN AMRO stakeholders informed.
