Financial Sponsors/Merchant Banking

The Financial Sponsors Group (FSG) is dedicated to providing cross product solutions to our financial sponsor and private equity client base, FSG's role involves being the "point of contact" for all sponsor related business from our chosen financial sponsor clients. Through the ABN AMRO network and industry contacts, we are able to provide a complete offering comprising cross product, sector, financing and advisory solutions through all stages of the investment, buy-out, financing, recapitalisation and divestment process.

Merchant Banking

The Merchant Banking group acts as a principal equity investor across the Corporates and Financial Institutions sectors with the dual objectives of generating attractive investment returns and driving significant ancillary revenues.

Merchant Banking has a client-focused business model that leverages ABN AMRO's network of proprietary relationships, in-depth industry knowledge and capital markets expertise to identify promising investment opportunities, develop innovative investment structures and act as a value-adding partner throughout the life of each investment. In addition to generating attractive investment returns, Merchant Banking's objective is to promote ancillary revenues.

Real Estate

Real Estate Advisory provides dedicated financial services to one of the largest and most important asset classes in the world: real estate. Our Group aims to leverage on our existing client base by providing in depth real estate knowledge, tailor made equity and debt solutions and M&A advisory services to our clients, while at the same time having an active dialogue with a wide range of real estate investors investing into the financial products structured for our clients.
