ABN AMRO Asset Management is our global asset management group with over 1,500 employees and locally representation in 27 countries worldwide. From our headquarters in Amsterdam, we coordinate global asset management through key regional centres. Each centre is responsible for account management, management sales, marketing, client servicing, local product development in its region. Each region is also home to specific asset-class expertise:
Amsterdam and London – global, European and emerging markets equity; global, Euro and emerging markets fixed income; currency management; asset allocation; property; alternative investments.
Hong Kong and Singapore – Asian and Japanese equity, property and Asian fixed income.
Atlanta and Chicago – US equity, fixed income and property.
As well as these key asset management centres, we are represented in a further 22 countries around the world by ABN AMRO bank, with local offices promoting global products, including Asset Management.
With portfolios often managed locally and valuable local expertise contributing to all investment products, we ensure that local knowledge has an input to international investment policy.
We manage EUR 210.6 billion (as at 30 June 2007) in segregated accounts and mutual funds. Assets are allocated in equities with 45%, 36% in fixed income and 18% cash and other classes.
We provide these clients with a range of services, including tactical asset allocation, enhanced indexing, multi manager, asset modelling vs. liabilities, guarantee wrap structures, enhanced cash, absolute return strategies, leveraged equity and currency overlay.
